EARLY LEARNING AT PATHFINDERS

A Joyful Start to Lifelong Learning

NURTURING YOUNG MINDS THROUGH EXPLORATION

A supportive environment where curiosity and creativity thrive

Our Early Learning programme nurtures young minds through play, discovery, and hands-on experiences. Designed for children aged 4-6, we provide the foundations for lifelong learning, helping every child grow with confidence and joy.

PLAY-BASED LEARNING

Learning Through Hands-On Exploration

Children thrive when learning is fun and engaging. Our play-based approach encourages imagination, problem-solving, and active discovery, helping young learners build confidence and a love for learning through interactive activities.

LITERACY & NUMERACY FOUNDATIONS

Building Strong Foundations for Future Success

We introduce essential early literacy and numeracy skills through storytelling, songs, games, and hands-on activities. Children develop early reading, writing, and mathematical thinking in a way that feels natural and exciting.

LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT

Encouraging Confident Communication

Through rich language experiences, including phonemic awareness activities, role-playing, and interactive read-alouds, children build strong communication skills, expanding their vocabulary and confidence in expressing ideas.

SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL GROWTH

Fostering Confidence and Connection

Through guided social interactions, we help children develop resilience, cooperation, and self-regulation. By learning to share, take turns, and express emotions constructively, they gain skills that support lifelong positive relationships.

CREATIVE EXPRESSION

Inspiring Imagination and Self-Expression

Through art, music, drama, and storytelling, children explore creativity and self-expression in a supportive setting. These activities nurture confidence and encourage them to see the world with curiosity and wonder.

INQUIRY-BASED LEARNING

Encouraging Curiosity and Critical Thinking

Our inquiry-based approach nurtures a natural love for learning by encouraging children to ask questions, solve problems, and explore new ideas. This method builds confidence in independent thinking and decision-making.

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

Active Play for Growing Bodies and Minds

Physical activity is key to early development. We provide opportunities for both fine and gross motor skill activities, from drawing and building to outdoor play, ensuring children develop strength, coordination, and confidence in movement.
